What we look for in an acquisition

Meridian Industries is always interested in new acquisition opportunities, whether complementary to our current businesses or diversified from our activities today. Bolt-on acquisitions, in which we merge or blend a company with an existing Meridian business, are most common, as we have completed nearly 20 transactions of this type. Meridian is also open to acquiring new, stand-alone businesses unique from its current group of companies.

The characteristics we look for in acquisitions include:

• Companies that fit the Meridian culture.
• Companies that are financially strong and stable.
• Transaction sizes that will not compromise our inherent financial strength or long-term business health.
• Transaction structures that allow for 100% ownership by Meridian.
